Flow restrictors create back pressure on the membrane within your unit you need to select the correct restrictor for your membrane.

Fitting an incorrect flow restrictor will damage your membrane and/or reduce the product water flow giving below optimum performance.

You can just about upgrade any system to a different rating with one of our restrictors used in combination with a correctly sized membrane. All you need to find on your system is a flow restrictor and replace it with one of ours from here.

Your restrictor may not look exactly like ours but it will be similar. If you trace the waste feed on your system you should find one.

If you feel the system never lasts as long as you would like it may be due to the membrane blocking prematurely. An ideal and economical solution to this which extends the life of your membrane is to fit a flush kit.

Many units sold today do not have a flush kit offered as standard but they are cheap and simple to add to your existing unit. So they are a great way of extending the life and flow of you system. Flush kits are available for 50 GPD 75GPD and 100 GPD systems.

Also if you are thinking of increasing the flow of your system you only need to buy a membrane and a flow restrictor to match the required performance rate so again it’s easy to upgrade your unit.

Finally the best addition to any system to improve efficiency is by using a booster pump to bring the supplied tap pressure up to the optimum for water production and again prolonging the life of your membrane.

All these items are available in our shop.
